Cauldron Projekts is a collaborative team that seeks to create a space for community dialogue through learning, literacy and visual art practice. Like the cauldron kettle, our work seeks to blend and agitate a diverse body of people and ideas while continuing to operate as a single vessel. Our goal is to allow people to act as participants and producers of a learning experience, sometimes these experiences will lead to the creation Art, sometimes not.

Richard Mayhew visits Cauldron Projekts
Monday we got very special and humbling visit from the artist Richard Mayhew. Mr. Mayhew was in town giving a lecture at the Birmingham Museum of Art, where his work is currently on display as a part of the Exhibition 'Spiral: Perspectives on an African-American Art Collective.' If you haven't already seen this show, be sure to make a trip to the museum before it comes down. This is only the second time in history that this group of artists have been show together.
