The last exhibition opening for WATCHWORDS was a complete success! The show was in response to such words as FREEDOM, CITIZENSHIP, PATRIOTISM, AND CIVIL RIGHTS. The 9 artists exhibiting questioned all those topics and more. There was even a surprise appearance by one of the artsts, Nikki Styles Baker. Nikki's spoken word installation, Superblak, touched on the thought of a superhero named Superblak, and whether he or she could exist.
